The faith based acting method in the book does not teach doctrine, but does teach an acting methodology that contains relationship development exercises specifically developed for the faith faith based actor. The exercises in this book allows the faith based actor to study his or her relationship with God as well as the character’s relationship to God to create options for character development. The exercises are specifically designed in order that the faith based actor may study the source of his or her anointing and the way in which it inspires a performance. The book contains a syllabus for acting teachers.

She has conducted an acting workshop at the Christians in Theatre Arts Conference in Puerto Rico. Jana has presented her work for the Southeastern Theatre Conferences.
Jana is member of Actor’s Equity Association and the Screen Actors Guild. Her professional acting credits include The Guiding Light on CBS, Broadway productions at Lincoln Center, Off-Broadway productions at The Theatre for the New City, 13th Theatre, and The American Theatre for Actors.
Jana has performed in the USO European tour of Godspell, in television/radio commercials, and in films. Jana has performed with such stars as John Goodman, Kathleen Turner, Nathan Lane, and Leslie Nielson.
While living and working in Branson, MO, she wrote and directed for Silver Dollar City, a turn- of- the- century theme park, produced, directed, and performed for the 76 Music Hall, developed show concepts for the Grand Palace, and the Branson Bell and served as the entertainment director for the theme park Mutton Hollow.
Jana has taught acting at Texas Tech University, Ouachita Baptist University, Central Baptist College as well as broadcast and theatre classes at Henderson State University. Jana has owned and operated a talent agency and drama school. Jana is an Assistant Professor for the Communications and Theatre Arts Department at Henderson State University. Jana is the drama minister for New Life Church in Arkakelphia, AR.
